Former WWE star Dawn Marie wants to be serious for a minute.
During her recent appearance on the Going Ringside podcast, Dawn Marie reflected on her career and the interesting storylines she was a part of. When she looked back at her time with ECW between 1998 and 2001, host Scott Johnson asked her who was fun to work with at the promotion.

She had a surprising response, revealing that Lance Storm was the funniest guy in the ECW locker room. Dawn Marie debuted in ECW in August 1998 as Storm’s manager, and continued to work with him until he left for WCW in May 2000.
Lance Storm is known for his serious, humorless character, and Dawn Marie noted that many were surprised when she told them he was the funniest guy in the locker room. However, she noted that despite having a dry sense of humor, Storm was so funny backstage and was great to work with.
“Lance, of course. I loved working with Lance. Lance and I were a great team. He was a great guy. I used to say he’s the funniest guy in the locker room. People look at me like I’m weird. I’m like, ‘No, no, no,’ he is, you just have to listen to what he’s saying. He has a very dry sense of humor, but he’s so funny. We had a great relationship, great friendship, we had a great partnership, “Dawn Marie said.
Dawn Marie was with WWE from 2002 to 2005. She had a messy exit from the promotion after getting released while on maternity leave. She then sued the company for wrongful termination. She returned to the promotion as the special guest referee for Jaida Parker vs. Lola Vice at NXT 2300 in November 2024.
