Danhausen Expands Beyond WWE With Major Career Move

Danhausen has officially signed a major media deal with Adventure Media.

The WWE star is proving he is much more than just a wrestling character. Since debuting in WWE earlier this year at Elimination Chamber, Danhausen has quickly become one of the company’s most talked-about personalities. At first, some fans thought his strange horror-comedy style would only connect with very niche audiences.

However, his creepy humor, fan interaction, and “curse” gimmick have caught on with many. His popularity grew even more after appearing during WrestleMania 42 in a segment with John Cena and The Miz.

Danhausen signs major media deal amid WWE success

Danhausen has officially signed with Adventure Media for management representation, opening the door for projects in movies, TV, digital media, publishing, and more.

According to Deadline, Adventure Media will now handle Danhausen across multiple entertainment fields as the company looks to grow his already popular brand even further.

Outside of WWE, Danhausen has also been gaining attention through several viral mainstream media appearances. One of them came on ESPN’s NBA Today, where he jokingly “cursed” the Cleveland Cavaliers before they blew a 22-point lead against the New York Knicks in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

The timing generated widespread attention, and basketball fans who didn’t even follow wrestling were learning about Danhausen’s gimmick. He later kept the joke going by asking for courtside seats next to Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner at a Knicks game so the “curse” could continue.

Danhausen also went viral after taking over ESPN’s SportsCenter “Top Plays” segment. Following other appearances on comedy and pop culture podcasts, Adventure Media appears to believe he has major crossover potential.

Adventure Media has been expanding more into sports and entertainment in recent years. While the company is known for representing filmmakers and creators, it has also started working with athletes, media personalities, and wrestling talent. With Danhausen, the goal is reportedly to grow his character into TV, movies, digital content, publishing, and licensing opportunities.

Inside WWE, his merchandise numbers have reportedly been especially impressive. Danhausen is said to be near the top of WWE’s merch sales rankings, sitting behind only some of the company’s biggest stars.
