WWE’s Nick Khan Named Mentor By Netflix Executive

Netflix executive Gabe Spitzer recently named WWE President Nick Khan as one of the mentors who has influenced his career in sports media and entertainment.

Nick Khan has become one of the most influential executives in modern wrestling and sports entertainment. Before joining WWE, he built a strong reputation as a major media agent and television dealmaker.

Gabe Spitzer currently serves as Netflix’s Vice President of Nonfiction Sports. His comments come at a time when Netflix and WWE continue building a major business partnership following WWE RAW’s move to the streaming platform in 2025.

Netflix VP Gabe Spitzer praised Nick Khan’s influence on his career

Speaking on The Main Event with Andrew Marchand, Spitzer reflected on several important people who helped him throughout his career in television and sports media. “Oh wow, like I said, in the HBO days, learning from people like Jason Hare, Aaron Cowen,” Spitzer said.

He also mentioned several other media executives who influenced him. “Conor Schell at ESPN, Jamie Horowitz.” While discussing more recent mentors, Spitzer specifically brought up WWE President Nick Khan.

“Even just more recently, Nick Khan on the WWE side but I would say at Netflix, Bela Bajaria, Brandon Riegg. Great people who have been through the business and have different perspectives…”

Nick Khan remains one of WWE’s top executives and is widely known for his media and business background. Khan currently focuses on helping grow revenue opportunities across WWE, UFC, and Zuffa Boxing through sponsorships, venue deals, and content partnerships.
