Rhea Ripley Reveals She Collapsed After WWE RAW In Australia

Rhea Ripley recently opened up about one of the toughest periods of her life and revealed that she collapsed backstage after WWE RAW in Australia.

Last year, Ripley teamed up with her best friend Iyo Sky as part of the popular duo RHIYO. The pair enjoyed success together and even won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship for a short time. However, Ripley admitted that returning to Australia put a lot of pressure on her.

Rhea Ripley reveals she suffered a panic attack after WWE RAW in Australia

Speaking on What’s Your Story? with Steph McMahon, Ripley discussed the emotional pressure she felt during WWE’s Australia tour. She explained that she was trying to make everyone happy while also balancing family, friends, and her WWE responsibilities

“The toughest time for me was when we were in Australia too. So I had that on my mind. I had the people pleaser in me trying to see everyone at home. I had me trying to please everyone in Australia because I felt like the face of Australia in WWE.”

“I take full responsibility for everything that’s happening. I take responsibility for how I perform. I take responsibility for how things stand up. My peers took responsibility for too much, and I just wanted to make sure everyone’s happy. And I was at such a really low point.”

Ripley admitted that she reached a very low point after WWE’s run of shows in Australia. “Even after we had the three shows, we had SmackDown, we had Crown, and then we had Raw. By the time Raw was done, I collapsed in catering.”

Ripely said, “I had a full panic attack. I hadn’t eaten. My body was shut down, and I was just the worst I’d ever been. I was just dying. And then that person lingering around was making it worse. And I was like, “I can’t do this.”

“So after that trip, I made sure to start putting myself first and kind of chopping people out completely. I sent a long message because I didn’t want them to. And I pretty much just went on there like, “I can’t give you any more of me. Don’t ever message me again. I don’t think we ever had a friendship. Get the f*** out of my life.”
