WWE is reportedly considering multiple names for 2026 King of the Ring winner.
WWE announced the bracket for the 2026 King of the Ring during the Clash in Italy post-show. The tournament officially kicked off on the June 1 episode of RAW, where Oba Femi advanced to the next round.
Qualifying matches for the WWE King of the Ring tournament will continue on SmackDown this Friday, and the winners of both the men’s and women’s tournaments will receive world title shots at SummerSlam 2026.
According to WrestleVotes Radio, via Fightful Select, WWE is considering multiple names as potential winners of the 2026 King of the Ring tournament. However, the report did not reveal those names.
“WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select has learned that the winner of the tournament had not been decided when the brackets were announced. WrestleVotes was told that at least three names were under consideration to win the tournament.”
One major name is reportedly favored to win the WWE King of the Ring tournament
According to another report, Seth Rollins is the current favorite to win the 2026 King of the Ring tournament. The report noted that while there are “a lot of moving parts.” However, the current plan is for Rollins to win and challenge Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam.
Both men were most recently featured on the June 1 episode of RAW in Italy. Reigns was acknowledged by Jacob Fatu. As for Rollins, the former leader of The Vision defeated Bron Breakker in a match that saw Paul Heyman get inadvertently destroyed by Breakker.
