For the majority of their tag team run, fans have known Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss as the Allies of Convenience. On Monday’s episode of WWE Raw, a potential new name came to the table.
During a commercial break interview segment, Bliss and Flair appeared alongside WWE correspondent Byron Saxton, with “The Queen” addressing her singles matches against the Judgment Day’s Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez. No matter who stood in their way, though, Flair and Bliss attested that everyone would bow down to the Allies of Convenience, also known as “The Twisted Queens.”
“There’s nothing that Judgment Day can do that I haven’t seen before,” Flair said. “Now, is it the smartest thing having a match before my qualifier this Friday? Probably not. Probably not the smartest thing to have a match against someone like Roxanne Perez. But if you’re going to call me out online, of course I’m going to show up on Monday Night Raw to kick some ass. You want to know what my biggest advantage is? This Five Feet of Fury right here. Alexa Bliss.”
“Liv Morgan might be a champ right now, but Charlotte Flair will forever be a queen,” Bliss added. “Everyone bows down to the queen.”
“Actually, everyone bows down to Allies of Convenience. Woo!” Flair replied before turning her attention back to Saxton. “You got to [make heart hands], too. Now you’re one of the Twisted Queens, Byron.”
As of this writing, it is unclear if The Twisted Queens will become an official new tag team name for Flair and Bliss. Regardless, many fans are already on board with it.
With some assistance from Bliss, Flair eventually went on to defeat Perez on Raw. This Friday on WWE SmackDown, Flair will meet Morgan in the semi-finals of the Queen of the Ring tournament.
