Jey Uso Has Hilarious Reaction To ‘Most Hated In WWE’ Claim

Jey Uso has a hilarious reaction to the narrative that he’s the most hated WWE Superstar right now.

While he has all the WWE fans in the arenas cheering and yeeting with him every week, Jey Uso does have some online critics who are not happy with his strong booking. As people continue to complain about him on social media, claiming he’s over only because of his flashy entrance, a recent post on X/Twitter asked if he’s the most hated wrestler in the promotion right now.

Jey Uso reacted to that post, retweeting it with the caption, “*loved,” and hilariously countered the narrative with a simple, confident correction.

Jey Uso qualified for the semifinal of the 2026 WWE King of the Ring Tournament by defeating Finn Balor, LA Knight, and Royce Keys on last week’s episode of SmackDown. The clip of his victory received more dislikes than likes on YouTube. The former World Heavyweight Champion will face Je’Von Evans this Friday on SmackDown to earn the opportunity to face Oba Femi in the final at the Night of Champions Premium Live Event. Roman Reigns had tasked him with winning the tournament and going after Cody Rhodes and the Undisputed WWE Championship.

CM Punk defends Jey Uso from online criticism

Speaking on Busted Open Radio a few months ago, CM Punk defended Jey Uso from all the online hate. He pointed out that wrestlers live extremely public lives, and fans will always be quick to judge and mock them for even a small misstep.

“Jey Uso, in every arena, like, I’m battling with John Cena and Jey Uso as who sells more t-shirts on any given night,” CM Punk began. “Everybody is going crazy for his music. They’re yeeting, they want him to run it back. This dude can go on TV for ten minutes and just yeet.

“But then if you went on the internet, ‘Oh, he’s the worst wrestler alive.’ Is he, or are you just extremely hyperbolic? Everything nowadays, ‘This is the best thing ever. This is the worst thing ever. I don’t like this, so you have to not like it too.’ It’s really just like, ‘Like what you like. Champion that.’ I try to stay away from the negativity.

“Jey Uso is f*ckin phenomenal. He is 100%. We just live these lives that are so public that everybody wants to point fingers and laugh if we like slip on a banana peel or make a mistake,” CM Punk said.
