TNA iMPACT starts now!

The Nemeths Are Here To Celebrate

Ryan Nemeth arrives in the iMPACT! Zone as the A Game Hydration-sponsored commentary team recalls his involvement in the TNA Rebellion main event. Nemeth hypes up the arrival of his big brother, the new TNA World Champion, Nic Nemeth. The World Champion is in the house and trolls the crowd on his way to the ring.

Nic Nemeth Reveals His ‘Body Count’

Nic Nemeth says people have the wrong idea about his “body count” as Ryan pulls out a long scroll containing names. Nic explains he’s referring to the long list of wrestlers he has defeated throughout his career. He runs through a lengthy list of former opponents, including Randy Orton, Ultimo Dragon, Kane, Cody Rhodes, Bobby Roode, Jeff Hardy (while recalling that Ryan Nemeth also holds a victory over Hardy), Rey Mysterio, Samoa Joe, The Miz, Matt Cardona (and Zack Ryder), John Morrison (along with the various ring names he has used in different promotions), and John Cena. He even talks about wanting another shot at a couple of rivals from his high school and college days before being interrupted.

KC Navarro comes to the ring and says he’s happy to be back in Albany, but admits he’s disappointed with how Nic has been carrying himself as champion. Navarro says he respects Nic and has been learning from him over the past few weeks, but doesn’t like the way he’s been acting.

Ryan Nemeth immediately cuts him off, mocking Navarro and telling him to leave because Nic is simply enjoying the success that comes with being TNA World Champion. Navarro fires back by telling Ryan to stay quiet because he’s trying to talk to Nic, prompting Ryan to insist that only he gets to call Nic “brother” because they’re actual brothers.

There’s Only One Way To Settle This

The exchange quickly turns into a heated argument, with Ryan accusing Navarro of being jealous of him for being Nic’s brother. Navarro responds that Ryan is the one who needs “an ass whipping” and should stop interrupting so he can finish speaking to the champion.

Nic finally steps in to calm both men down, calling them a pair of stooges who are embarrassing themselves while he stands as world champion. He says the constant bickering needs to end and proposes that Ryan Nemeth and KC Navarro settle their differences by facing each other later tonight. Nic says he’ll speak with Daria Rae to make the match official.

With that settled, Nic turns the focus back to himself, declaring that he remains the greatest professional wrestler in the world. He says he has built his legacy by defeating some of the biggest names in wrestling and vows that anyone who steps up to challenge him will suffer the same fate. Nemeth closes by proclaiming himself the “Wanted Man” and the TNA World Champion before leaving the ring with Ryan.

Leon Slater Vows To Bounce Back After Slammiversary

Gia Miller catches up with Leon Slater backstage ahead of his TNA iMPACT main event against Eddie Edwards. She asks how he’s approaching the match after falling short against Cedric Alexander in the Ultimate X Match at Slammiversary.

Slater admits he was devastated by the loss, saying he came within inches of reclaiming the TNA X-Division Championship before Cedric Alexander snatched the title away. He makes it clear that his rivalry with Alexander is far from over, promising that as long as Cedric holds the championship, he’ll be coming after him.

Turning his attention to tonight’s main event, Slater says he has to get back on track by defeating wrestlers who have already reached the heights he wants to achieve, starting with former TNA World Champion Eddie Edwards. He also condemns Edwards’ actions toward Moose’s family at Slammiversary, calling him “a disgusting pig of a human being” and vowing to teach him a lesson in Albany.

Slater closes by declaring that he still considers himself the face of the X-Division, even without the championship. However, he says his ultimate goal is to become the future face of TNA, and that journey begins by defeating Eddie Edwards tonight.
