Eddie Edwards put his hands on Moose’s wife and son at TNA Slammiversary, but lived to regret it.
The 2026 TNA Slammiversary pay-per-view featured Moose looking for retribution against Eddie Edwards after the latter kicked him and JDC out of The System with Brian Myers and new members Bear Bronson and Cedric Alexander. They competed in a No Surrender match, which could only end if JDC, who was on Moose’s corner, or Alisha Edwards, who was on Edwards’ corner, threw in the towel.
The match was tense from the beginning as Eddie Edwards attacked Moose before the bell rang, but the latter retaliated by powerbombing him on the apron. The stars then took the fight inside the ring, and after a series of back-and-forth action, Edwards gained the upper hand by taking his opponent out with a Boston Knee Party.
After JDC refused to throw in the towel, Eddie Edwards brought in a steel chain, wrapped it around his knee, and tried to use it against Moose. While the latter regained control for a while, Edwards zip-tied both his hands to the middle rope. He then hit him with multiple kendo stick shots as his wife and son watched from ringside. JDC wanted to throw in the towel, but Moose talked him out of it.
Eddie Edwards attacked Moose’s wife and son
Moose’s wife, Rese, jumped the barricade, grabbed the towel from JDC’s hand, and tried to throw it in, but the latter stopped her. Eddie Edwards got out of the ring, grabbed her by the hair, and pushed her to the ground. He then grabbed Moose’s son, who came in to check on his mom, and tried to powerbomb him in the ring. However, the kid hit him with a low blow.
As his wife dropped Alisha Edwards with a slap outside the ring, Moose broke free from the zip ties and gave Eddie Edwards two spears. He then tried to spear him through a table placed against the turbuckles, but Alisha Edwards stopped him and threw in the towel, giving him the win.
After the match, JDC hit Eddie Edwards with a stunner. Moose then speared both Eddie and Alisha through the table and celebrated with his family in the ring.
