WWE’s Chelsea Green Deactivates X After Viral MAGA Claims

Chelsea Green has deactivated her X account after responding to viral MAGA claims. The backlash emerged after a recent segment on WWE SmackDown, prompting Green to release a public statement before her account disappeared from the platform.

The former two-time WWE Women’s United States Champion is known for her fun personality both on WWE TV and social media. She often jokes with fans and stays in character online. But what started as criticism over a SmackDown segment soon turned into a political debate.

The issue began after the July 4 episode of SmackDown. During a segment, Chelsea Green and Tiffany Stratton recreated the viral Sophie Cunningham pointing meme. In the scene, they pointed at Michin, Jade Cargill, and B-Fab as part of the joke.

Although it was meant to be a funny reference, some people linked the meme to political discussions involving Cunningham and alleged MAGA symbolism.

As the conversation spread online, Green strongly denied the claims. She made it clear that she does not support the MAGA movement or U.S. President Donald Trump.

In a post on her X account, she explained her background and political views while calling out the false information being shared. She tweeted,

“I can handle you saying things about my looks or my talent but what you won’t do is spread lies about my political views. Since you’re so interested in spreading misinformation, here are the facts:

– I am a Canadian citizen

– I can’t vote in America

– I am not MAGA

– I am a liberal / democrat

– When I become a citizen, I will vote for a president who believes in equal human rights”

Her statement spread across social media, with fans discussing both the original accusations and her response. Not long after that, Green’s X account became unavailable. Anyone trying to visit her profile now sees a message saying the account doesn’t exist.

At the moment, it appears the account has been deactivated rather than permanently deleted. So far, neither Green nor WWE has said whether the deactivation was connected to the online backlash.
