WWE’s Next Wave of Signings Revealed — Report

WWE could soon add more names to its roster, as a new report says the company is planning another round of signings. According to Fightful Select, WWE is looking to bring in several talents in the near future. While nothing has officially come to light yet, two names are said to be high on the company’s list.

If these signings happen, they would be part of WWE’s ongoing effort to strengthen its roster in 2026. The company has already introduced several new names this year, including NARAKU, Royce Keys, and Lizzy Rain.

Hiromu Takahashi and Richard Holliday look likely to join WWE

Among them are former NJPW star Hiromu Takahashi and independent wrestling veteran Richard Holliday. Fightful Select reports that Hiromu Takahashi is still expected to sign with WWE. People within the company reportedly believe it’s only a matter of time before the former NJPW standout joins WWE.

Takahashi has garnered a reputation as one of the top junior heavyweight wrestlers in Japan and has built a strong following via his exciting in-ring style and presentation.

Richard Holliday is another name that WWE reportedly has interest in recruiting.

Holliday has spent more than 10 years wrestling on the independent scene. He has worked for promotions like MLW, GCW, and Exodus Pro Wrestling. He is currently the NWA Midwest Heavyweight Champion while continuing to wrestle around the independent circuit.

One of the biggest moments of his career came in MLW, where he won the MLW World Tag Team Championship with MJF. Earlier this year, Holliday also won the Reality of Wrestling Legacy Championship and recently challenged for the Real Canadian Wrestling British Commonwealth Championship.

The report also says WWE’s interest in Holliday isn’t new.

Fightful‘s Sean Ross Sapp noted that Holliday has attended several WWE tryouts over the past few years. He was also once considered for the “Mr. Elegance” character in TNA Wrestling, showing that multiple major promotions have seen potential in him.

Several other free agents have also been linked to WWE in recent months, including Mike Santana, Eric Young, Zilla Fatu, Enzo Amore, Big Bill, and Bishop Dyer aka Baron Corbin.
