Life couldn’t be going much better for Tony D’Angelo right now. The reigning NXT Champion is still on top of the roster, and now he has even more to celebrate after welcoming his first child with his wife, Isabella.
D’Angelo, whose real name is Joseph Ariola, married Isabella in December 2024 after being engaged for nearly two years. The two have reportedly been together for a decade after meeting while attending the University at Buffalo. D’Angelo was a college wrestler, while Isabella Borini played soccer and also competed in track and field.

D’Angelo shared the news on social media, announcing the arrival of their baby boy. He posted a few photos of himself with his newborn son and captioned the post, “Vincenzo James Ariola My little boy.”
The post was filled with congratulatory messages. Several WWE personalities, including Kendal Grey, Jaida Parker, Arianna Grace, Izzi Dame, Santos Escobar, Wade Barrett, and many others, congratulated the couple on Instagram.
The birth of Vincenzo James Ariola comes just a few months after Tony D’Angelo and Isabella revealed they were expecting. Back on Valentine’s Day weekend, Isabella announced her pregnancy on Instagram by sharing ultrasound photos inside a Polaroid-style frame surrounded by white flowers. Now, the couple has officially become parents.
Things are also going well for D’Angelo inside the ring as well.
Earlier this year, he refreshed his character by moving away from his longtime mafia-inspired gimmick and set his sights on championship gold. That paid off at Stand & Deliver 2026, where he defeated Joe Hendry, Ethan Page, and Ricky Saints in a Fatal Four-Way Match to win the NXT Championship.
Since then, D’Angelo has successfully defended the title against Ethan Page, Tavion Heights, Kam Hendrix, and most recently Naraku at Great American Bash 2026. He is now around three months into his title reign.
