Jeff Hardy is officially back in the TNA World title picture. The company has announced that Jeff Hardy will challenge the current TNA World Champion, Nic Nemeth, on the July 30 episode of iMPACT! The title match will air live on AMC in the United States and will take place at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia.
Nemeth won the title back at Slammiversary on June 28. His first title reign began at Slammiversary 2024 and lasted 183 days before Joe Hendry defeated him at Genesis 2025.
Since joining TNA in 2024, Nemeth has become one of the company’s biggest stars. He also enjoyed success in the tag team division with his brother Ryan Nemeth. The brothers won the TNA World Tag Team Titles before losing them back to The Hardy Boyz in a four-way ladder match at Slammiversary.
Jeff Hardy gets another shot at the TNA World Title
The match gives Hardy a chance to become a four-time TNA World Champion. It will be Hardy’s first TNA World title match in years. He previously won the title three times, in 2010, 2011, and 2012.
Across those three reigns, Hardy held the championship for a combined 249 days. His last world title win came at Bound For Glory 2012, and he lost the championship to Bully Ray at Lockdown 2013.
Now, more than 13 years later, Hardy has another chance to win TNA’s biggest prize. Although he is currently one-half of the TNA World Tag Team Champions with his brother Matt Hardy, this match brings him back into the singles title picture.
Nic Nemeth and Jeff Hardy renewed their rivalry in May 2025 when they faced each other for the first time in 16 years. Now, the stakes are much higher with the world title up for grabs.
