Karen Jarrett reacted after hearing Eric Bischoff’s latest comments. The WWE Hall of Famer surprisingly praised former TNA President Dixie Carter. Jarrett and Carter shared major backstage issues during their time in TNA. Their problems mostly came from power struggles and very different management styles.
Karen Jarrett questions Eric Bischoff’s praise for Dixie Carter
Speaking on 83 Weeks, Eric Bischoff discussed Dixie Carter’s wrestling legacy. He admitted she deserves much more respect from fans. Bischoff said, “No. I think it’s unfortunate. I’ve said many times before, I think Dixie deserves a lot more respect and credit than she gets. And I’ll be honest, you know, I’ve been a little hard on Dixie from time to time when this subject comes up, but I don’t think I’ve been unfair.”
He also praised Carter’s personality and intentions. “And I think Dixie is one of the nicest people I’ve ever worked with. I think she’s got a very good heart. I think her intentions when she got involved with TNA were as righteous as yours or mine would be in that same situation. I think she had every intention of really trying to make a go of it.”
However, Bischoff also explained where things went wrong. He explained, “But she wasn’t prepared for it, and neither was anybody around her. That was her biggest problem. She didn’t have anybody around her that really understood, A, entertainment, and B, the wrestling business.”
Bischoff added, “The wrestling business is unique. Professional wrestling as a televised property is a unique business model. And she was surrounded by a bunch of people who were probably successful in other parts of their lives, whatever that may have been.”
Karen Jarrett didn’t seem convinced by those comments, though. She reacted on X (formerly known as Twitter). Jarrett wrote, “Just wanna make sure that what I read was accurate! @WrestlingNewsCo @EBischoff said DC had a good heart???”
