AEW has reportedly secured the future of one of its longest-running factions, ending months of uncertainty surrounding several expiring contracts.
While the group hasn’t been a weekly fixture on Dynamite, the latest update suggests its story with the company is far from over.
According to Fightful Select, multiple members of the Dark Order have signed new deals, ensuring the veteran stable will remain part of AEW and Ring of Honor for the foreseeable future.
Dark Order members reportedly remain with AEW
Fightful Select reports that Evil Uno, Alex Reynolds, and John Silver have all re-signed with AEW. Earlier this year, the outlet noted that contracts for several Dark Order members were nearing expiration, but those situations have now reportedly been resolved.
The trio had previously signed three-year contract extensions in 2023, with those deals set to expire at some point in 2026. Their reported renewals keep the current Dark Order lineup together, allowing the group to continue competing in singles, tag team, and trios competition across AEW and ROH.
The move also strengthens AEW behind the curtain. In addition to remaining an active wrestler, Evil Uno has reportedly taken on coaching duties for both AEW and Ring of Honor, giving the company another experienced voice backstage while staying ready for in-ring action.
Dark Order has been part of AEW since the promotion’s earliest days. Evil Uno debuted at the inaugural Double or Nothing event in May 2019, while Reynolds and Silver joined the faction later that year. Although the group hasn’t always been front and center on weekly television, they’ve remained regular contributors, particularly in ROH.
This reported round of renewals removes another set of expiring contracts from AEW’s list and keeps one of the company’s original acts intact. Like a veteran tag team that refuses to miss the hot tag, Dark Order appears set to continue its run, both on screen and behind the scenes, as AEW moves forward.
