AEW’s Dustin Rhodes reveals that an extra from the Brock Lesnar-Oba Femi segment on WWE RAW is his student.
The July 13, 2026, episode of WWE RAW featured a segment in which Paul Heyman announced he had obtained a restraining order against Oba Femi to ensure he doesn’t get physical with Brock Lesnar before SummerSlam. However, the Ruler violated the order immediately by getting close to the Beast Incarnate after he entered the ring.
A bunch of local talent dressed as police officers at ringside quickly got in between them to ensure Oba Femi didn’t get his hands on Brock Lesnar. However, the segment ended with Femi destroying the extras and standing tall.
After the event, former AEW TNT Champion Dustin Rhodes reposted a photo from the segment on X/Twitter, identifying the police officer standing second from the left as his student, Cordell. The latter is training at the Rhodes Wrestling Academy and has been an in-ring performer since 2024.
Dustin Rhodes has been out of action since losing the TNT Championship to Kyle Fletcher in July 2025. He then underwent double knee replacement surgery and recently noted that obtaining medical clearance to return to the ring may not be far off.
As for Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi, the two powerhouses will look to end their rivalry when they meet inside Hell in a Cell at SummerSlam. While he feigned retirement at WrestleMania 42, there are speculations about Lesnar hanging up his boots for good at SummerSlam since the event takes place in his billed hometown of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
