Mike Santana’s future with TNA Wrestling now looks more uncertain amid the rumors and speculation of his TNA exit.
The company hasn’t officially announced that Santana has left but has quietly made a noticeable change to his status that has only added to the growing belief that his time in TNA is over.
Mike Santana removed from TNA roster
Santana last wrestled for TNA at Slammiversary 2026, where he defended the TNA World Championship against Nic Nemeth. After a hard-fought match, Santana lost the title, ending his second reign as TNA World Champion.
Following Slammiversary, he did not appear at TNA’s TV tapings.
While missing tapings isn’t unusual, fans soon noticed something else. Santana’s profile had disappeared from TNA’s official roster page.
TNA hasn’t confirmed that Santana has left the company, but removing a wrestler from the roster is often seen as a sign that they are no longer under contract or no longer part of the company’s plans.
The update comes after weeks of rumors about Santana’s contract and what he plans to do next. With several signs pointing toward an exit, many fans now believe WWE could be his next stop.
According to some recent reports, people within WWE still expect Santana to sign with the company after making a strong impression during his appearances on NXT as part of the WWE-TNA partnership.
Those appearances reportedly helped him build good relationships backstage. The report says WWE officials were happy with how Santana connected with the audience and believe he could fit well into the current roster.
Recently, Santana also got fans talking with his social media post. He just posted “7/15” without any explanation. The cryptic message led to speculation that it was connected to the end of his TNA deal.
That said, nothing has been officially confirmed.
