Cody Rhodes’ Attempt To Kick A Football Goes Horribly Wrong

Cody Rhodes may be one of WWE’s biggest stars, but his football skills leave something to be desired.

During the Fanatics Games at Fanatics Fest NYC, “The American Nightmare” took part in a field goal kicking challenge in front of fans. However, things didn’t go according to plan.

A video from the event shows Rhodes lining up for multiple field goal attempts on an indoor turf setup while another participant held the football in place. Despite several tries, Rhodes was unable to split the uprights.

After each missed kick, the large digital scoreboard behind him flashed the word “MISS,” drawing laughs from those in attendance as Rhodes continued trying to connect.

Rhodes ultimately came up empty in the challenge, as his struggles with the football left fans joking that WWE may need to look elsewhere for its QB1.

Tom Brady is waiting on the sidelines for a WWE storyline

Speaking of, the former Undisputed WWE Champion also hosted a live edition of his What Do You Wanna Talk About? podcast during Fanatics Fest NYC, with NFL legend Tom Brady appearing as the special guest. During the conversation, Brady jokingly called on Nick Khan to make his WWE debut happen.

“I need to get an invite, I mean, I’ve been waiting for like Nick Khan to come up with some storyline for me to get in the mix. I feel like I’m retired from football; I have the opportunity to go out there and still showcase that I’m a little bit of an athlete. My boy Gronk’s done it. I’ve seen obviously Logan Paul do it. I think I could get in there for at least one match, right? Come on, Nick. Come on, make it happen,” Brady said.
