What's bothering me this week in professional wrestling…

#3. TTDDD – Tag Team Division Development Done?

I really thought the tag team division was heading in the right direction a few months ago.  Reports that Hunter wanted to take it more serious sounded promising. Shortly thereafter, we saw the union of Kofi Kingston and Evan Bourne, who were quickly awarded the WWE Tag Team Championships. Air Boom was expected to lead the division to a better future!

And now, here we are…in the future. It seems nothing has changed. The tag team division isn't revived. Hell, it isn't even rejuvinated. Air Boom still has no purpose and the majority of wrestling fans couldn't care less about the Uso's or Primo and Epico. Yes, the Uso's are talented, but the fact remains: fans don't relate to them. Not yet, anyway. Probably never will.

Blame it on Evan Bourne's suspension all you want, but that's not the reason the tag division is still irrelevant. It's irrelevant because WWE refuses to give it attention. They refuse to give the tag teams within it a true identity or purpose. They refuse to come up with even semi-creative storylines specifically for the tag team division that might actually give fans a reason to care about it.

It's been this way for years, so you'd think I would be used to it by now. I guess I'm not. Damn you Triple H for giving me false hope! Damn you to heck!
