WWE Hall of Famer Returns to Japanese Parliament Position

Legendary pro wrestler and WWE Hall of Famer Antonio Inoki has returned to his seat on the Japanese parliament. Although details are still scarce as, according to Al Jazeera the polls closed on voting less than one hour prior to this writing, early votes indicate that the former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion will be returning to politics in his home country.

Inoki currently lives between his two residencies in both New York City and Tokyo. He announced his intention to run with the Japanese Restoration Association in June of 2013.

Besides being the first ever Japanese WWE Hall of Famer, Inoki is famous for his controversial fight with Muhammad Ali, and for founding New Japan Pro Wrestling.
