WWE Hall Of Famer Believes Brock Lesnar vs. Oba Femi Could Last Until WrestleMania 43

WWE Hall of Famer Booker T believes the rivalry between Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi could continue for a long time. The veteran recently shared his thoughts on the feud and suggested it could even reach WrestleMania 43.

Brock Lesnar shocked fans when he returned on WWE RAW a few weeks ago. He interrupted Oba Femi’s Open Challenge and attacked him with multiple F5s, setting up a rematch at WWE Clash in Italy.

The match comes after Femi scored a major victory over Lesnar at WrestleMania 42. Following the loss, Lesnar appeared to retire by leaving his gloves and boots in the ring. However, he returned a month and immediately renewed his rivalry with the former NXT Champion.

Booker T believes Brock Lesnar vs. Oba Femi could last until WWE WrestleMania 43

Speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T admitted that Lesnar’s apparent retirement fooled him. He said, “I like to build it. Like I said, I’m still a fan of the business. Brock’s big retirement swerve got me. I didn’t think we would see Brock Lesnar anytime soon or anything like that.”

And if you’re going to fake a retirement, you might as well do it that way. You know what I mean? Come right back, because you don’t want to be, what do I always say about the business? Out of sight, out of mind. There you go. So for him to have been off a long time, a lot of juices still flowing, whatnot, whatnot. I’m like, man, stay in the game. Get this thing over with, then ride it out.”

The WWE Hall of Famer also believes there is still plenty left to explore between Lesnar and Femi. “But I think Oba Femi and Brock Lesnar, those guys really got a lot of good work still in front of them. Booker T went even further and suggested WWE could continue the rivalry all the way to WrestleMania 43. “I think, if you wanted to, you could run that thing for the next year with not even a problem. Then take it to WrestleMania without even a shadow of a doubt.”

With Clash in Italy approaching, fans will soon find out what the next chapter looks like for one of WWE’s biggest rivalries.
