Both Miz and Ziggler are from the area, which is also the host city for tonight’s WWE TLC pay-per-view.
WWE TLC Backstage Atmosphere
The same Reddit user who was correctly predicting WWE pay-per-view results last year and earlier this year, and who claims to be a former WWE employee has returned to offer a few updates on the backstage atmosphere at the arena for tonight’s event.
“metsfan4ever” noted that usually the vibe backstage is calm and light prior to doors opening, but the talent backstage tonight are extremely focused on their matches, and there is a “fever pitch” among the main roster stars following the NXT Takeover show on Thursday. They obviously have seen how the fans reacted to that show, and don’t want to be out-done on their final PPV of 2014. The success of NXT, and especially recently with the rise of Sami Zayn and debuts of major talent like Kevin Owens and Finn Balor, has created somewhat of an unspoken rivalry, and everyone is fired up for WWE TLC.
