The Latest On TNA Reportedly Being Sold, Who Actually Has Bids In To Buy The Company?, When Could A Final Sale Be Done By?, More

The Latest WWE’s Reported Bid To Buy TNA

F4WOnline.com is reporting that they are not sure who floated the rumor to The New York Post that WWE and Sinclair Broadcasting were bidding to buy TNA. There is no truth to either company trying to put in a bid on TNA at this time.

According to Dave Meltzer there is a real offer from WWE but it is described as being an offer than only exists if no other parties purchase the company. That offer is also not recent and Meltzer notes that WWE is only interested in TNA’s tape library in order to push stars like Samoa Joe and AJ Styles.

At this point Billy Corgan has already put enough money in to TNA to get 30% of TNA and WWE is not willing to par to get the whole package.

In regards to the potential sale of TNA Meltzer says that Corgan and a second party are interested. There are apparently several non-disclosure agreements in regards to the second party and that second party is not Aroluxe. Aroluxe reportedly had until September 1st to get their deal together but did not so they will not be buying the company.

Corgan is said to be looking to have the deal done so that he owns TNA in time for Bound For Glory on October 2nd.
