Alexxis Falcon has a creative mind.
In the professional wrestling realm, Alexxis Falcon is known as “The Iron Queen” and a decorated champion across the United Kingdom. Outside of it, she’s a content creator focused on sharing her love for and adventures related to Disney. Last December, those worlds collided when Falcon introduced a new Disney Princess-inspired ring gear at PROGRESS Unboxing VII: The Curtain Call, which also marked her official return to in-ring action.
“I’ve always had gear that’s inspired by Disney or things like that,” Falcon told WrestleZone’s Ella Jay. “Whilst that’s all well and good, in the UK I support a football team called Hull City. They’re not very good, but I am very loud and proud about the fact that I’m from Hull. Their mascot is a tiger, they’re called the Tigers, they wear orange and black. Their gear is orange and black, sometimes it’s been amber, like yellowy. I basically said to someone I need to figure out what if I was a Disney Princess, so if Alexis Falcon was a Disney Princess, what would her dress look like?
“Then I came to the conclusion, because, I’m a little bit rough around the edges, it would be black and then probably have some tiger print and orange on it for Hull. Then how does that translate to gear?” Falcon continued. “So you know how Cinderella has the choker? That’s why I went for the choker. The sweetheart neckline is Jasmine inspired. The points [on the shoulders], Aurora has the points, so I kind of designed gear and a dress based on all the different princesses, but if it was my own dress. Like if Disney was to make a film tomorrow called Alexis Falcon, what dress would I be wearing? Then I obviously turned it into wrestling gear.”
In addition to the Disney and football homages, Falcon’s gear was complemented by a win inside the ring as well. On this occasion, Falcon defeated her tag team partner Charles Crowley in singles competition.
Alexxis Falcon Could Also Rock A Cheeseburger Look
What will Falcon’s next ring gear look like? According to her, it could replicate a meaty image that recently went viral on social media.
The image in reference showed an outfit inspired by a cheeseburger, with (fabric) lettuce as thigh garters, sesame seed buns as a brassiere, and a variety of toppings and condiments included in the bottoms.
“I actually did say to someone, ‘If anyone could pull that off, it’s me,'” Falcon recalled. “They were like ‘Why?’ and I was like because I’m like a Disney adult. I could get like a Mickey Mouse burger. In the theme parks, Disney food is a big thing, so I could get like a Mickey waffle outfit or something. Everyone convinced me it was a really bad idea. Then they said that if I actually do get the cheeseburger gear, they’ll never speak to me again. That was [fellow UK wrestler] Rhio that said that. She was like ‘You cannot get that gear.’
“Don’t convince me because I will do it,’ Falcon added, “and everyone will literally be like ‘Why has Alex got cheeseburger gear? Of course, Alex has got cheeseburger gear.'”
