This was the feud that singlehandedly elevated the status of the Intercontinental Championship in 2016. The culmination of the epic feud between The Miz and Ziggler took place at TLC and there was no better stipulation than a ladder match.
As they did with all other times, they proved just how well they performed against each other as both superstars struggled in the ascent to reach the Intercontinental Championship. The Miz settled it all with dirty tactics, kicking Ziggler right in the nether region, allowing him to grab the Intercontinental title and put their feud to rest.
