It was Heart vs Soul at WrestleMania 34. 205 Live had undergone a shake-up after the release of Enzo Amore and the fiasco caused at the time. A cruiserweight tournament was announced, where the two finalists would compete for the vacant Cruiserweight Championship at WrestleMania 34.
It was the opportunity of a lifetime for all the stars of the purple brand and there was no match more perfect than Alexander vs Ali. They were unfortunately bumped to the pre-show, but that didn’t stop them from having an outstanding match. It was an emotional bout between the two faces of 205 Live and Alexander prevailed. It was the right decision because it was his time to shine. Ali would have to wait longer.
