5 Key Elements For All Elite Wrestling To Succeed

#2.) Don’t take the TNA route

In the mid-2000s, TNA was the hottest wrestling company in the world, with incredible young talent to back it up. They had all the tools, all the stars and all the promise in the world to be a great company, but the managerial route taken was the wrong one. The Dixie Carter-led promotion would try desperately to compete with WWE even if they didn’t have the financial means to do so.

It backfired on them and over the years, the quality had dipped and many stars had left. We give credit to the new management of Impact Wrestling, because they’ve done a great job of reviving the company and giving the product its own identity, with a great one-hour weekly show that stands out on its own.

AEW mustn’t follow the mid-2000s TNA route and do everything to try to get to WWE. It’s important to first establish their own identity and establish the fact that they are a good alternative. They can still be profitable in their own right and grow at a good pace without trying to compare themselves to a company that’s been around for a good part of half a century.
