Tony Schiavone shouldn’t ideally count as a superstar, but on the night of Dynamite’s premiere, he was exactly that. One of the criticisms that AEW had previously was the commentary, particularly with regards to the aging Jim Ross. However, the hiring of Tony Schiavone proved to be a great one as he instantly gave a boost to the commentary team.
