Former 16-time World Champion John Cena had a huge announcement for the WWE Universe as well. The GOAT made a surprise appearance in Toronto following the Intercontinental Championship match-up between Sami Zayn and Bron Breakker.

Cena isn’t advertised for RAW this week, but what’s advertised is a whole lot of singles and tag team action. So, let’s dive right into it!

Chad Gable vs. Jey Uso

Chad Gable interrupted Jey Uso on WWE RAW last Monday. The Yeet Master hid under the ring as soon as Wyatt Sicks showed up. Gable would again confront Uso on the final SmackDown before Money in the Bank leading to a brawl once again.

Neither man was able to unhook the briefcase in the high-stakes match-up this past Saturday. Who will emerge victorious as the Yeet Master takes on Master Gable? We will find out on RAW.

Six-woman tag team match on WWE RAW

Lyra Valkyria joins forces with Kayden Carter and Katana Chance against Damage CTRL on RAW. The six women have been feuding with each other for weeks now. With IYO SKY fresh off her Money in the Bank loss, will Damage CTRL take back their momentum?

Awesome Truth & Braun Strowman vs. The Judgment Day

It seems Awesome Truth have found an unlikely ally in Braun Strowman against The Judgment Day. The villainous group cost Strowman his Money in the Bank qualifier on 6/24 WWE RAW. Strowman would unsuccessfully try to prevent Finn Balor and JD McDonagh from winning the world tag team titles from Awesome Truth in the main event later that night.

WWE announced that The Monster Among Men will join forces with Awesome Truth to take on The Judgment Day in six-man tag team action on the July 8, 2024, episode of RAW. Which of the three men will stand tall after the battle? We will find out in a couple of hours.

Dominik Mysterio & Liv Morgan vs. Rey Mysterio & Zelina Vega

It’s been quite a while since WWE has produced a mixed tag team match on RAW. This episode will see Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan take on Rey Mysterio and Zelina Vega.

Dom helped Liv retain her world title against Zelina last week on RAW. Liv would repay the favor by helping Balor and McDonagh defeat Miz and Truth for the tag team titles in the main event later that night.

The CM Punk-Drew McIntyre saga takes a new turn

Drew McIntyre was the victim of a Toronto screwjob this past Saturday at Money in the Bank. The Scottish Warrior failed to cash in his Money in the Bank contract during the world title match between Damian Priest and Seth Rollins.

McIntyre was assaulted in the middle of the ring by one CM Punk, who proceeded to destroy him with multiple chair shots to the back. Punk would add insult to injury by hitting McIntyre with the very belt he had so desperately tried to cash in on.

A livid McIntyre would hijack Money in the Bank post-show, taking out his frustration on the referees and RAW General Manager Adam Pearce, who announced on Twitter that McIntyre has been suspended indefinitely for putting his hands on him.

It is worth noting that Punk inadvertently cost Seth Rollins the world match as well. Rollins was captured fuming after the loss. The Visionary was clearly upset at Punk and would’ve, undoubtedly, jumped his one-time mentor if it wasn’t for Corey Graves.

Wrestlezone will have full coverage of WWE RAW as it airs.
