2011 WWE Draft – Exclusive, In-Depth Analysis, Pt. 1

Ted DiBiase, Jr.

Is there still hope for the second-generation superstar?

Cash: I like Ted Dibiase.  I think he is underrated and every time it seemed like he was going to catch a break, WWE never followed through all the way.  He has now been reduced to a mid-card, believable enhancement guy.

LaBar: Ted DiBiase is due for a run at being a face. The "I have more money than you" is played. The "I’m Awesome" is occupied. Let Ted go to Friday nights and play to the crowd or better yet be managed by his father. Let him talk about how he tried being aligned with Orton and Rhodes and that didn’t work out for him. He tried being led by Maryse and that didn’t work out. So he is turning to one person he knows he can trust and that’s the original Million Dollar Man. A Ted DiBiase feud with former Legacy member and over as a heel- Dashing Cody Rhodes! Who knows, bring both of their fathers and put them in their corners for a nostalgia match/feud at SummerSlam between DiBiase and Rhodes.

Paglino: I like the idea of The Million Dollar Man managing Ted DiBiase, Jr, but at the same time I think DiBiase needs to get away from the "money" gimmick. It’s time for him to be himself, and I don’t think his Dad would help him in that department. With everything happening in WWE right now, with guys like Del Rio, Rhodes, Sin Cara being introduced/re-introduced and pushed, my guess is that DiBiase will once again get lost in the shuffle, even if he is to move to Smackdown in the draft.
