Who Will & Won’t Be The Guest Host Of WrestleMania 27

Watch Justin LaBar on the Chair Shot Reality only on Wrestlezone

So tonight begins what should be a very interesting 7 weeks of Monday Night RAW programming. 2-21 promo to be officially resolved next week, more Hall Of Fame inductees to be announced and the normal build of the WrestleMania card.

But forget all about all of that for the next couple hours. Tonight is all about the guest host of WrestleMania 27. Who Mr. McMahon will reveal is the guest host in front of 75,000 people in Atlanta.

Shawn Michaels- Mr. WrestleMania will have enough exposure with his HOF induction and possible involvement in the Triple H vs The Undertaker feud I reported last week.

Stone Cold Steve Austin- He will get his exposure when Tough Enough promotion increases as we get closer to the Monday after WrestleMania when the show makes its return.

Justin Bieber-….McMahon likes to shock but he isn’t that stupid. I wouldn’t be shocked if the WWE is set on having Bieber perform. He is popular to a certain demographic and whether you like him or not as an artist, he is a big name in pop culture right now. WrestleMania is always attempting and many times succeeds at being a big deal in mainstream media and pop culture in anyway possible. (See WrestleMania 11 where an NFL legend was in the last match of the night)

Bob Barker- Based on the success of Barker as a RAW guest host, he will have some sort of celebrity role. Bob Barker has said on the record that he is scheduled to be in Atlanta for WrestleMania. This isn’t uncommon for the Super Bowl of Sports Entertainment to have cameos of guys such as Barker. When it comes to having his name on the billboard as host of the big event, I’m not buying it.

Mike Adamle- Yeah, Mike Adamle. Okay okay, I just wanted everyone to have an inside chuckle at remembering how hilarious of a time him on WWE television was. If you don’t remember it or were not watching at the time, youtube it. -2% chance of him being the guest host of WrestleMania 27.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Yes.

Out of any choice, The Rock makes the most logical and realistic sense. You won’t get him to wrestle again even though physically I am sure he could still perform at the level his legacy requires. You can get him to do some simple work on the mic, say a few catch phrases and you have please the WWE universe and make up for the many bad guest hosts of RAW everyone put up with over the past year.

RAW tonight is coming from Anahiem. I don’t know The Rock’s personal address but we all know he has residence and spends much of his time in nearby Hollywood. The best thing to do is to not show The Rock until WrestleMania. If you do anything tonight then you have something “via satellite” or pre-recorded with him speaking for about a minute.

You don’t have him come out the entrance way, walk down the ramp and step into the ring until April in Atlanta. If the WWE holds him from a live crowd until then, they will get the best return in their investment from in Pay Per View buys and one of those classic WrestleMania moments that defines “the biggest spectacle in sports entertainment.”

As always will be tweeting during RAW and can be followed at JustinLaBar on Twitter.
