Champion vs Champion Match: The Miz vs John Morrison: This was a great opening contest. I was pleased to see The Miz go over in this match because he’s the one out of the two that can benefit the most from the win. John Morrison’s star is on the rise, and after a very weak program with John Cena awhile back, The Miz needed to bounce back strong, which I think he has and continues to do with performances and big wins like last night. Also, the win last night for The Miz can give him something to “brag” about for weeks now on Raw, and it adds a nice momentum boost for The US Champion. John Morrison will bounce back from last night’s loss quickly, and whoever he works with next will take the focus of last night’s bout where The IC Champ is concerned. Out of a possible 9 stars, I give Bragging Rights’ opening contest 8 Stars.
