WZ.com’s 5/29 Edition of “The Not News of The Week!”

Welcome to another edition of Nick’s Not News of the Week, an article so uninteresting you’d actually be better off reading one of Chris Cash’s blogs. Let’s take a look at what’s barely making headlines this week:

1. Johnny Fairplay vs Michael Lohan?

"After hearing that the notorious Survivor contestant, Jonny Fairplay issued an open challenge for Celebrity Boxing 9: Survival, Michael Lohan, father of Lindsay Lohan, stepped up and agreed to fight Fairplay out of 1000 emails that were received by promoter Damon Feldman."

I wouldn’t be surprised to see TNA immediately hire the winner of this bout and make him the new Legend’s Champion at their next PPV. Why would Michael Lohan ever agree to do something like this? His daughter makes daily news headlines as the trashiest girl in Hollywood so he decides to box Fairplay? That’s like purposely adopting a retarded kid. Winning that bout is like being the tallest midget in the room. Do you really win?

2. Shane Sewell says "good-bye" to TNA.

Did TNA ever say "hello" to Shane Sewell?

3. As we reported, The Iron Sheik was backstage at this past Monday night’s Raw taping visiting friends.

The last we heard of Sheik he was busy pissing his pants on The Opie and Anthony Show. I wonder if Vince originally planned to bring him into Raw this past Monday night to run a segment where Sheik and Mae Young go on-one-on in an "adult diaper on a pole" match. I can honestly say it would have been at least 8 times better than anything else we saw on the show this week.

4. In his first match back on television on last night’s WWE RAW, Mr. Kennedy suffered an apparent wrist injury. The injury occurred while Kennedy was taking an RKO from Randy Orton. He immediately rolled out of the ring in pain. There is no official word yet on how serious the injury is, although early word is that he’ll not miss any significant ring time.

I was able to obtain an exclusive photo of Ken Kennedy immediately following his injury this past Monday night on Raw:
