Nick Dinsmore: Latest News & Updates

Hello to all my friends. I have been very busy this past weekend. Last Friday Oct. 12 I traveled to Philadelphia. There I did my first shoot interview for RF Video. I was very nervous and wasn’t really sure what I was going to talk about. As the questions were asked, I remembered old times and old stories that I hadn’t thought of in years. The interview went about 3 hours and I had a great time. I hope everyone gets a chance to check it out.

The next Saturday Oct. 13 I was at an autograph session outside of Philadelphia. The Honky Tonk Man, The Iron Sheik, and Buff Bagwell were there just to name a few.

I then flew to Corpus Christi to wrestle for the NWA. The show was great! I wrestled “The Ironman” Rob Conway. The NWA heavyweight champion Adam Pearce was there. He is a great wrestler. The next show for the NWA is Saturday Oct. 27 in Houston, TX at the Plaza de San Migual. Check out the NWA at www.nwawrestling.com. I hope everyone gets a chance to come to Houston to check out the great NWA action and, of course, Nick Dinsmore in action.

I’ve gotten a question over the last couple weeks that I would like to address. I supposed someone posted on the Internet that I took a head training position with OVW. This is not true. I did take a training position with OVW, but its not the head training position. There is currently 3 classes in OVW. AL Snow, Robert Gibson, and Danny Davis train the WWE contract talent in OVW. This is considered the advanced class. Rip Rogers trains all of the talent associated with Derby City Wrestling ( www.derbycitywrestling.com). This is considered the intermediate class. Rip does a fantastic job training these Superstars of tomorrow. Derby City Wrestling tapes their TV every Thursday in Louisville at the Davis Arena. I took the position of training the beginners class. This is the class I trained from about 1999 until the time I debuted on Monday Night RAW in 2004. Joey Matthews/Mercury was training the class until last week. He had to stop training the class due to his wrestling commitments. He did a great job. I have about 11-12 students and they are very talented.

I have also been attempting to make friends on myspace. If you would like to be Nick Dinsmore’s friend check out http://www.myspace.com/ugenedinsmore. I am really getting into it and I want to make as many friends as possible. I’m not saying I fully understand it or am good at it, but its fun to see my friends from all over the world.

I hope everyone enjoys and reads my column. I am having lots of fun writing for loc.wrestlezone.com. If you get a chance send me your feedback to my myspace page.

Until next week…keep on living the dream!!!

Nick Dinsmore
