One Anticipated Step Up

It's such a simple marketing ploy, but it's so damn effective. Just produce some cryptic videos, promote a future date at the end, and play them unexpectedly throughout your weekly broadcast. It's golden!

If you're a fan of my work, you'll remember the bold statement I made a couple weeks ago that Chris Jericho would NOT be behind the videos. I'm still willing to make that bet, but I'm also well aware that the original plan behind the videos all along was for Y2J to be the guy. I think that it's very possible Vince will change his mind and go with someone else due to the overwhelming amount of expectation that it's Jericho.

Vince could always insert 'Taker or even himself last minute and it still make sense. Jericho can still return as well, but he doesn't "have" to be the one behind the videos.

Either way, it's the new year and we're heading into the Royal Rumble that subsequently leads us into WrestleMania! I am very much anticipating the first Monday Night Raw of 2012. I'll be tweeting my excitement all during the show. Join me!

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
