Number 6: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs

After winning the WWE Tag Team Championships from Austin and Triple H on Raw, May 24, 2001 Smackdown features a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match. This was so unheard of, a speciality match on a Smackdown. Benoit and Jericho, two of the best in ring performers ever, would be a team who needed to fend off the anger from Vince McMahon. They would be faced off against The Hardy Boys, The Dudley Boys, and Edge and Christian. The only tag team without prior experience in this match, the entire match was an instant classic. Whether you loved the Walls of Jericho on the top of the ladder, or Jericho’s moonsault, or even Benoit’s headbutt from the ladder, you got all you bargained for. 20 minutes worth of entertainment, the Arrowhead Pond was in awe of this match. Jericho and Benoit would be one of the most interesting, yet dynamic tag teams. This would begin the surge of pairing two singles stars together for tag teams. An A plus match thanks to all of the teams, especially the champs.

Currently, Josh Isenberg works for Major League Baseball in their Advanced Media Productions. He grew up in Pittsburgh and went to Point Park University, which is where Chair Shot Reality is filmed each week.
His life outside of his obsession with wrestling include being a savant for Seinfeld, NFL, NBA, MLB and many television shows. He also has an undying love for musicals, which includes many shows he was a part of in high school. Some of his favorite wrestling moments can be linked to such superstars as Edge, The Rock, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Great Khali.
