Cody Rhodes vs. Goldust for the Intercontinental Championship
The brother vs. brother match is something I want to see here. Both growing up in the business, Cody and Dustin are two completely different wrestlers in their prime. Dustin got over with a gimmick that people still remember and think about. Cody is at the top of his game, and can benefit from a great feud with his brother. I can see them really getting a solid ten minutes to put on a fast paced, athletic, and aggressive match. Give me the current IC Champ to one who held it for so long in his hay day. Goldust vs. Cody can also feature their father in some role, whether he progresses the story by having Cody attack him. He could bring the real life aspect of his dad making decisions and not pushing Cody to his maximum potential. I like all ways this could work out and would be so much better than a Cody vs. Ted or Cody vs. any other mid card opponent. If this does not happen, put Cody in MITB.
Beth Phoenix vs. Kharma for the Divas Championship
A match that fans have wanted to see for a year. Kharma’s baby is out of the way, her marriage isn’t until June, so she has plenty of time to cause chaos onto Phoenix. This is a Divas match that would get people talking, that would be the best Divas match since Trish and Mickie. I desperately want to see this match happen, give that Divas division some credibility. There is no wrong way to go about booking this feud. Phoenix says she has beaten everyone, so bring out the one she has not beaten. Tamina is the final step, the final person she has not beaten. She will beat her this Sunday and hopefully move onto Kharma.
