WWE No Way Out

The Cashbox: Previewing No Way Out, Predicting Winners

No Way Out doesn’t have much appeal to it. It’s a transitional pay per view in the truest form, but that doesn’t always mean something good or newsworthy won’t come out of it. The recent Smackdown spoiler we just posted on WZ proves that. This pay per view has relevance now.

Let’s break down the matches and I’ll also give my picks for the winners.

CM PunkWWE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH

If one of the two major titles is to change hands this Sunday, it would be this one. And it would be Daniel Bryan that wins it. The AJ factor allows WWE to go in that direction if they choose. I know I’m not the only one that halfway expected her to screw Punk over at the end of this thing and realign with DB.

Personally, I never loved Kane’s involvement in this match. It just seemed out of place after Punk and Bryans’ first match. That being said, he really hasn’t done that bad and although I don’t think he adds much to the program, he certainly doesn’t hurt it either.

I’m going to say WWE stays status quo with most of this pay per view. Even though the elements are in place for Daniel Bryan to sneak out of this Sunday with the WWE Championship, I don’t think it happens. Yet.

CC’s Pick: CM Punk

WWE DIVA’S CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH

Beth PhoenixThis one is an easy one for me as I thought Beth Phoenix would have taken the title last PPV. There’s one Diva’s program/matchup that fans will actually care about and we’ve been waiting on it for quite some time.

From what we hear, Kharma is ready to return anytime. If that’s true, Beth will likely take the title before that program starts. Originally, that wasn’t going to be the case as Kharma didn’t jump right into a feud with Beth. This time, I don’t think they waste any time with it.

CC’s Pick: Beth Phoenix
