We now have a lot more information on TNA Wrestling’s Jordynne Grace‘s WWE NXT appearance on Tuesday night.
TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace shocked the world on Tuesday when she appeared on WWE NXT to challenge Roxanne Perez. The two women will face off next weekend at Battleground for the NXT Women’s Championship in Las Vegas.
How long has this plan been brewing, and what exactly is WWE and TNA’s relationship? We now have a substantial update.
According to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp (via Fightful Select), the current agreement between WWE and TNA will see Grace appear for NXT “at least” three times. WWE is paying Grace for these appearances, and sources tell Sapp she’s making six figures for them.
While we don’t know what the next step in the ongoing relationship between WWE and TNA is, the lines of communication between the two companies have remained open since Grace’s appearance at the Royal Rumble.
Despite being featured in WWE programming, Grace is still contracted with TNA Wrestling for at least the next year.
