Wrestlezone’s Top Ten: Greatest Wrestlemania Superstars of All Time

Number 10: Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho

This first spot was a toss up between Jericho, Edge, and Kurt Angle. I chose Jericho to break the top 10 list for a few reasons. Ever since Wrestlemania 18, Jericho has had a big part in main event type matches at Wrestlemania. At Wrestlemania 19, he put on the best match of the night against Shawn Michaels, while Wrestlemania 21 had Jericho create the “Money in the Bank” concept. Fast forward a few years, and Jericho is holding a match against legends, and the mainstream cross was with Mickey Rourke. Even though the match was not one to be remembered, he still gave it his all and welcomed Hollywood to the 25th Anniversary of Wrestlemania. The following year, he held the title and kept it after his match with Edge at Wrestlemania 26, and then last year lost to CM Punk. You may say he does not get the credit he deserves, but I give him all the credit in the world. No matter what story he is thrown into, no matter what match, or what opponent, Chris Jericho is a true professional that puts on a great show every Wrestlemania he is involved in. Consistency is so underrated.
