The Wrestlemania Prediction Machine Part 1: WZ Staff Predicts the Undercard Winners

Ryback vs. Mark Henry

Ryback

Mike Killam:

WrestleMania is known for quite a few things; chief among them high profile matches, celebrity appearances, and big spectacles that make Jerry Lawler say things like “I have never seen anything like that before in my entire career”. I don’t expect these two powerhouses to put on a 5-star wrestling match. Their spot fills the “spectacle” role, and I’m excited to see what kind of show Henry and Ryback can put on. In the end, The Ryback needs a big win, and Henry can’t be seen as anything more than WWE’s biggest enhancement tool at this stage of his career.

Nick Paglino:

This match seems designed to give Ryback the much needed big PPV win. There is little reason why Mark Henry needs to win this match, and a big, impressive, hard hitting win for Ryback can get him back to where WWE wants/needs him to be. I’m going with Ryback all day long on this one. Anything else doesn’t make much sense to me.

Josh Isenberg:

Well, it is obvious WWE will have Ryback overcome a quick attack from Henry and beat him in under ten minutes. It does not make sense to me if Mark Henry wins. He is already established and Ryback has yet to win a big match. This is his big match. Let’s hope he is able to Shell Shock Henry. That strength spot will get the crowd going for the next match.

Brian Gulish:

Power vs. Power and, I don’t expect too many moves more than 6 inches off the mat.  Mark Henry is making his final run, Ryback is attempting to salvage his first run.  The WWE needs Ryback this summer when all the part timers go back in to their shells thus, Ryback shows enormous strength and wins with the shellshock!

Bill Pritchard:

A big man versus big man match that should be slow and physical, but entertaining none the less. I don’t really care who wins, but Ryback needs it more at this point. All I hope is that he doesn’t botch lifting Henry for Shell Shocked.
