3/16 Wrestlezone Recap: New Hall of Famer Announced, WrestleMania Line-Up, TNA Roster on the Move, WWE’s Top Five of 2014 & More

steve austinLooks like WWE wants "Stone Cold" Steve Austin at WrestleMania this year. Apparently they made some sort of "pitch" to him, but the Hall of Famer will only return if it's "worth it". So now WWE is scrambling to make it "worth it" for Steve, because they want their Big Four at the 30th WrestleMania – Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan, The Ultimate Warrior and the Undertaker. I have no clue what WWE could come up with to get Austin at this year's event. He's done enough special guest refereeing for a lifetime. The last time he got involved in a Brock Lesnar match, it was…well, it was the worst match I've ever seen.

Lots of buzz going around with the WWE's TV contract negotiations. The latest rumor is that Spike TV is interested, and could give up TNA Wrestling, whose contracts expire around the same time as Monday Night Raw, Friday Night Smackdown, and their other shows which will continue to be run on the WWE Network every week. This is huge news for wrestling fans. I mean, ultimately you're going to watch your favorite shows no matter what network they are on, but in terms of TNA's future this is big news. This is probably speculation and rumor, and Spike is very happy with TNA on their rundown, but if they had a chance at the titan that is WWE Raw, they'd be idiots not to pitch for it. WWE should have no trouble finding a new network and making big money. Can you say the same thing for TNA?

Carlos Colon was announced for the 2014 WWE Hall of Fame. He will be inducted by Carlito, Primo and Epico, his sons and nephew, respectively.

And finally, here's the latest WrestleMania XXX card and rumored matches list. We've got five huge matches already announced, with more coming. As much as I wasn't looking forward to this year's event just a few weeks ago, and I'm still glad I'm not going to New Orleans, things are shaping up.
