A Night For The Shield

smackdown reaction The Shield was set up to face 11 guys in the main event. Throughout the night, they targeted a handful of guys and hits some Triple Powerbombs. The Shield tries to eliminate many of their opponents and all of them are heels. I found it very intriguing to see WWE give The Shield all of this time. I loved it because they need to be booked in a slightly different way. Yes, we have seen them dominate multiple times, but this booking was different. We see them interact backstage and really use their personality to strike fear into their opponents.

The main event was really good, but I wanted to see a real opponent for them. They just rehashed the match from Raw a few weeks ago. Nonethless, The Shield are on such a great pace as faces. I just wonder how long it will take for them to be split apart. Going this way, I cannot see a way where WWE needs to split them up. They are so hot with the crowd and really have been the brightest spot in WWE over the span of a year.

My question is this: After Extreme Rules, where does The Shield go?
