Is Seth Rollins in the Right Ladder Match?

seth rollinsThere’s just not enough Seth Rollins to go around.

Many say Rollins should not only be in the ladder match to determine the new WWE champ, but should win. Rollins would be the perfect opponent for Bryan upon Bryan’s return from injury.

But, if that’s done, Bryan needs to beat Rollins. You’d give Rollins a monster push coming off his turn on The Shield, but that would be beating him too soon.

Rollins, instead, will be in the Money in the Bank ladder match. He will probably win. That match isn’t as prestigious as the ladder match for the title. But when Rollins wins MitB, that kicks off a long-running main-event level storyline.

Rollins would be quite useful in either match. Considering the long term, Rollins is being used right.

You know why Rollins is over? BECAUSE HE’S A HEEL. No ambiguity. He turned on a group people liked, splitting them up. Marks can’t invent a reason to like Rollins, though he does still largely work babyface.

The winner of the title match should be selected based on who’s the best fit to give the championship back to Bryan.

It can’t be John Cena, the white-bread babyface. Nobody cares about Sheamus, Alberto Del Rio or Kane. I’m sick of Orton, but he could transition to Bryan. Bryan’s next go-round with Bray Wyatt would be better served for an issue beyond the belt. Roman Reigns would be the best guy to win the title, but not to lose it.

So have Cesaro win. It would trigger some great promos by Paul Heyman. I don’t ever see Cesaro as long-term world champ, so being transition champ wouldn’t damage him for the long run.

If they don’t plan on giving the title back to Bryan, however, all bets are off.

Please tell me that no one interpreted Monday night’s sendoff of Vickie Guerrero as a “tribute” to Eddie. Eddie would certainly respect his wife for earning a living. But he wouldn’t like what happened on Raw. It was gratuitous. embarrassing and stupid.

Too much Steph. Too much Trips. Same as it ever was.
