A Night of Returns on Raw

AJ Lee gets beaten up pretty quickly from Paige, who looked more aggressive and intense tonight. Why? She was booked as a HEEL. Paige has always needed to be the "Anti-Diva" but WWE stripped her of her identity in NXT. You can see Paige getting upset and angry, yelling at AJ. When the crowd cheers for AJ, Paige gets up. AJ rolls up Paige and wins the Divas Championship.

I am completely alright with this because I do think Paige learns from this. We could have Paige become a full heel and a Diva that people react to. AJ Lee will always have a cult-like following. If WWE knows better, they will let AJ Lee get attacked backstage, inside and outside of the ring by Paige. I really think the adversity and the drastic change Paige just witnessed will make her SO much better. There is no Diva better to work with than AJ Lee. The Divas division just got a huge shot of energy into it.

Two Former Champions Return

The Miz comes out in a white suit and sunglasses. He looks like a star and dresses like it. The Miz talks about how everyone was wrong and how he is important. He says he was asked to stay in Hollywood. He said he will not go away until he main events WrestleMania again. Chris Jericho's music hits and out comes the front man of Fozzy.

The Miz begins to talk to Jericho and bashes his previous return. Miz says he deprived the fans of seeing Miz shine. He says he is a movie star and a box office draw, which leads to Jericho hitting Codebreaker and sending him to the outside. Jericho grabs the mic and says "Welcome to Raw is…"

The Wyatt music hits and appears all three men in the ring. Jericho is beaten down by the three guys and Wyatt kneels over his lifeless body.

If you did not like this, you need to check your pulse. Jericho is back and needs to face off against Bray Wyatt at SummerSlam. I love this feud because of what it will do for Bray. The matches, the mic work and the importance that Bray will have will be through the roof. Internet fans, pick your side. This is going to be excellent storytelling over the next few months. This is so much better than Sheamus/Wyatt.

For The Miz, he can still be used as an important role. I think he is slightly better than the mid card, but his return was just what it needed to be. He needs to continue to feel like he is not appreciated as much as he should. The guy is an excellent heel. His work heading into WrestleMania 27 was spectacular and hopefully WWE will give him something to work with to regain that heel heat.
