Title This: WWE Raw Reaction “Season Premiere Delivers Two Solid Hours”

AJ Lee and Paige defeated Natalya and Rosa Mendes

raw reactionPaige slaps Rose in the face and then hits a head butt. She climbs on top of Rosa and then continues with more head to head shots. Paige misses a leg drop and Natalya wants the tag. Rosa avoids it and gets kicked in the stomach. Paige strikes her with knee shots and AJ Lee grabs Paige by the hair to tag herself in. AJ Lee locks in the Black Widow and picks up the win.

Eh, not much to talk about here besides Paige and AJ not wanting to work with one another. After the match, Paige yells to AJ Lee about touching it. AJ kisses the title and gives it back to her. Paige then kisses it and holds it in the air. What was that all about? Does Paige want to taste AJ Lee’s lips? Do you blame her?

Cena and Heyman Face to Face

Paul Heyman comes out and talks about his client Brock Lesnar. Heyman calls John Cena, who comes out, the greatest champion of all-time, until SummerSlam. Heyman says he has the way to beat Brock Lesnar at Night of Champions. Cena says that he will never give up at Night of Champions and says he wants Heyman to give Lesnar his towel that says “Never Give Up.”

Heyman says Cena cannot just help by being John Cena. He says he lives for the kid that wants to see him chant for him. He says Brock Lesnar listens to the referee, Heyman and his opponents that suffer. Heyman says Cena can beat him by giving into temptation. Heyman tells Cena he can help him into that temptation. Heyman cuts a rap on the Baltimore Ravens and Heyman gets on his knees and says to give in. He begs Cena to lose the wristbands and the t-shirt. Heyman says he believes in Cena, but Lesnar does not. Cena teases yelling at the crowd, but gets back into the ring. Cena says no and that he will not turn his back on the fans that supported him. Cena talks about who he is and the people he has come across in his life, from children and war veterans.

Wow, you can bash him all you want, but this was an excellent promo from both men. John Cena tapped into another level and surpassed even the great Paul Heyman on the mic. They both exuded passion. They showed what really matters to both parties involved. Whether you want him to turn heel or not, John Cena is still the best of both worlds. This segment was excellent. This was one of the best John Cena promos in history.

Seth Rollins defeated Sheamus

Sheamus hits a front suplex and a big boot to Rollins. Rollins follows up with some punches and a kick to his face. Sheamus catches Rollins and hits a rolling senton. Sheamus hits a clothesline and sends Seth to the outside. Out comes Cesaro and we head to a break.

Seth Rollins comes back with a great kick to the head and then sets up Sheamus. Sheamus reverses it and hits a Battering Ram. Sheamus misses and jams his shoulder into the post. Sheamus fights back and hits a high running knee. He hits another big knee and then an Irish Curse back breaker. Cesaro grabs the title and distracts Sheamus. Rollins tries to roll up Sheamus and gets a two count. Cesaro carries the title up the steps and Sheamus has a tug of war with it. Cesaro is tossed to the outside and he hits the Curb Stomp for the win.

Cesaro gets the distraction and the victory goes to Seth. The Curb Stomp was messed up a bit, thanks to Sheamus really a half second late to finish the move. I do not love Rollins being a little piece in a much smaller feud, but Cesaro needed to heat this feud up a bit for the US Title. He hits a Neutralizer and stands tall.
