Isenberg Reacts: WWE Raw “Is Kevin Owens Really Ready?”

Ryback vs. King Barrett

wwe rawRyback and Barrett put on an average match on Raw. As they head to the outside. Ryback gets thrown into the barricade. King Barrett stomps Ryback and sends him into the ringpost. He connects with a Winds of Change and then attempts a Bullhammer. He slaps Ryback and he Ryback “hulks” up. He ends up hitting a spinebuster and then Shell Shock for the win.

This may be one of the first matches that I have seen from Ryback where he did not need to dominate a match from beginning to end.

He took the brunt of violence. He was the guy who was on the defensive. It was refreshing to see, even though Barrett adds another loss to his new gimmick. THAT is the frustrating part.

Neville defeated Stardust

Neville picks up a win over Stardust with Red Arrow. During the match, Bo Dallas comes out and cheers for him. Dallas talks about him needing to Bo-lieve, kicking him in the injured leg.

Neville goes from mid card championship status to a lower end feud with a guy who has just not done anything on the main roster. Neville can do better than this. Bo Dallas, if booked properly, could be utilized more. I feel like they dropped the ball on Bo Dallas already and need an established face for him to get over on.

Tamina defeated Paige

Paige works a quick bout with Tamina, hitting a flip to the outside to pick up the upper hand. She gets back into the ring and hits a flurry of kicks and knees. Naomi distracts her on the outside, which allows Tamina to hit a Samoan Drop for the win.

Simple booking for the Divas tonight. Tamina wins, thanks to the woman who will fight for the Divas Championship on Sunday. I want Paige to win, but I think Naomi gets the title. This could set up more matches between Naomi and Paige, which is something that will ultimately benefit the both of them. Paige is over like rover right now. Keep her chase going.
