The crowd goes nuts. Jelly Toll checks on Orton. McIntyre almost decapitates Jelly Roll with a Claymore out of nowhere.

Grade: B

This was a solid, well-constructed, old-school-style match. This writer generally hates it when celebrities get involved in a match, but… So far, Jelly Roll has done quite well in his role. Props to… Logan Paul… (I feel dirty now) for making Jelly Roll seem credible by selling his butt off every time Jelly Roll breathes on him. Jelly Roll ate that Claymore head on. That was impressive. This was a good piece of business.

It’s ON SIGHT

Jade Cargill is shown in the crowd. Naomi attacks Cargill from behind. Naomi dumps Cargill over the barricade. Security and officials try to break it up. Cargill boots Naomi in the face and tosses her over the commentary desk. As security tries to calm Cargill down, Naomi leaps off the desk onto Cargill! As both women brawl, security eventually pulls them apart. SmackDown GM Nick Aldis grabs a mic and says he knew these two wouldn’t be able to wait, so he has an announcement. At Evolution for Cargill and Naomi’s No Holds Barred Match, they will have a special guest referee to keep order: Bianca Belair. Belair walks down to the ring and shakes her head. Naomi is seething. Cargill doesn’t look happy either.

Grade: B+

One word: Cinema!!!

Grade: B

Good match. Jimmy didn’t have a chance in hell here, but it’s still a fun watch. One thing: why did Fatu wait for Jimmy to get a Samoan Spike shoved up his nose before coming to make the save?

LA Knight vs. Seth Rollins w/Paul Heyman

The referee holds Knight back as the doctor and Heyman check on Rollins. Rollins gets ot his feet, but Knight immediately hits a BFT for the win.

Winner- LA Knight

Grade: N/A

Rollins is hurt, and they seemingly called an audible to get to a finish. With Rollins going down, there is no need to grade this one. Get well soon, Rollins.

Gunther locks Goldberg in a rear-naked choke. Goldberg fights, but eventually passes out.

Winner and STILL World Heavyweight Champion, Gunther!

Grade: B

This was a top-five Goldberg match. Goldberg sold for Gunther more than he ever has. This being his last match, it was clear that Goldberg wanted to show he was capable of more than 3-minute squashes. In his later years, Goldberg’s work has gotten better. It’s about time we all admitted that, and for a man his age, he performed quite well tonight. We have to give Gunther props for leading this one and making Goldberg look like the Goldberg of old at points during this one.

WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event Review:

Tonight’s show was good of quality matches, but nothing that would exactly change the world. Goldberg and Gunther put on a match that was way better than anyone expected, and the unfortunate injury to Seth Rollins put a damper on a fun match between Mr. Money in the Bank and LA Knight. The match of the night was the opener between McIntyre and Orton, with the main event being a close second. What did you think of the show? Let us know in the comments!
