Isenberg Reacts: Impact Wrestling “Many Ways To The World Championship”

Ethan Carter’s Night on Impact

impact wrestlingEC3 comes out with a Barbershop Quartet and models to kick off the show. He talks about how he is the number 1 contender and that he is going to face Kurt Angle. Angle comes out and corrects him, saying Rockstar Spud has the opportunity first. Spud, later in the night, confirms his intentions to face Kurt Angle.

A tag team match between Spud/Angle and Carter/Tyrus headlines the show. Angle and Spud pick up the win, pinning Tyrus. Austin Aries says he is going to cash in his briefcase and become the new champion.

Let’s break this down. EC3 should be in the main event. He has done EVERYTHING over the past 1-2 years and just has IT. TNA goes back to what worked so well and that was Rockstar Spud being the ultimate underdog. His involvement makes sense, but is not something I want to see. I do not want a triple threat or 4-way match at Slammiversary. I think Carter vs. Angle is the money match. The one people want and need to see. Austin Aries can implement himself after the tag title situation is cleared up.

How does it go down? TNA has a handful of paths they can take. It will be interesting to see what happens in the weeks to come. I know I am looking forward to seeing how this all unfolds.
