Isenberg Reacts: WWE Raw “A Night of Apologies”

Where Does Neville Fit In?

wwe rawNeville and Kofi Kingston put on a match that you would expect to see. It was high-flying, fast and very entertaining. Neville has not had one bad match since being called up to the main roster. He has faced guys like John Cena, Barrett, Kofi and other staples in the company. After seeing this match, I wonder one thing: what is next?

Will we get weekly matches from Neville that are entertaining? Yes. Will we see Neville fill the “John Morrison” matches on Raw? Yes. Will he be important? This is the one questions I wonder. Neville is stuck in a spot where he is so good in the ring. He is unique and incredible to watch. His character has not developed outside of pure wrestling and athleticism. So, what is his role? Can he be something more? Where does he fit? I really do not want Neville to be just another wrestler, especially since he has so much ridiculous talent inside of the squared circle.

What is your solution so he is not another guy on the roster?

King Barrett defeated Zack Ryder

Ryder hits a dropkick and then gets a shoulder block. Face first into the mat and Ryder punches at him. Ryder gets spilled to the mat and then Barrett kicks him a few times. Barrett unleashes more clothesline and then a suplex. Ryder gets back on the offensive and hits a big clothesline. Knees to the face and a missile dropkick, followed by an attempted Broski Boot. Ryder kicks him to the outside and gets back into the ring. Barrett hits him with a Bullhammer for the win.

Barrett gets about four offensive moves in this match. He fought Zack Ryder and struggled. Yes, this is your 2015 King of the Ring.
